    holds a lot of very helpful suggestions, and the way you present them makes a
    prospective marketing routine possible. I simply have to do something about marketing. No-one will do it for me, unless I pay them.
    
    My difficulty (self-imposed) is forcing myself to promote my output on a daily basis. That I find it hard to do is a matter of my particular psychological type.
    
    I love my blog and at least keep it running, although erratically so.
    
    I have steered away from starting a
    newsletter, but I was at a local writers' group this morning and one of the people there pointed out that a newsletter goes into people's email inboxes, as an automatic arrival that can be followed up or ignored. On the other hand,
    people have to make an effort to go to one's blog.
    
    I think my big effort has to be building a list of email addresses. I suppose I should first build a newsletter.
    
    Anyway, thank you for the blog post.

IMO the more books you have, the wider the potential exposure. However, with that being said, I recently learned a painful lesson on cover art. Rather than review the entire situation here, please check my post in the cover artist group. The lessons I learned are that the cover 1. must represent the genre more than the specifics of the story and 2. it must create a thumbnail that induces readers to click on it on 'Zon and other platforms. BTW I don't believe that 'Zon is the indie author's friend, but that's a different discussion point.  less
